Default PSD diff ????

I wonder how strong the internals of the PSD diff are? The standard LSD's come in the early (better) "8" plate design and the weaker later 4 plate design...but what is the insides of the PSD like? I know you need a later diff housing and can use a bolt to "adjust" how much tension the diff has.....instead of the whole pump-slave assembly Porsche used....

thoughts?

The PSD centre in my opinion is more mechanically robust, it is heavier and has many more clutches. You can forget the bolt idea, it has been tried and disproved. If I would have known more about differentials at the time I would never had attempted the conversion.

If you had enough money you could control the diff via an aftermarket controller, that would give you numerous benefits, you can look up the thread on that if you wish, there is quite a lot of details in that thread.
