Clutch/pressure plate assembly cleaning
I was wondering what cleaning methods can be used to clean the pressure plate, release lever, and ring gear assembly? Can soda blasting be used to clean the parts thoroughly provided the throwout bearing is removed prior to blasting? Would a hot parts oven be a good idea provided the assembly is air pressure dried immediately after? Or is brake cleaner and a stiff bristled brush the trick? I know to be very delicate with the pressure plate friction surface as trueness of that surface is paramount.
I already know that brake cleaner would be fine to use for the clutch disc itself and i am going with that to clean it. But for the other parts?

a rinse off with brake cleaner will do the trick,
then put the parts in the sun to dry ,
dont use compressed air unless your working outside,
you really dont want to breath any clutch dust
