I need to hook up with Brad on a couple of outstanding Perl (87 S4) projects. My 928 schedule this year will leave me with little time to finish off it's restoration.

You did miss an epic burnout/tail slide from me following frank in his beemer... I was following him to the restaurant, and he did a u turn, well, i was fairly close to oncoming traffic when i whipped around, and had poor throttle control... the result was the smokescreen button was pushed...

Thats right. Steven would have had NO issues witht that BMWer. It isn't bad 'E39 530'. I love the car but it is no shark. Now I have my own to drive. His burnout was just awsome. I am trying to drive while looking backwards... Next time we will be able to do it in syncro since I believe I will have almost as much hp as he does one of these days soon.

Burning Brakes
RangeRover, that is your red 83? What a pretty car. They have done a great job on it. I put many years and miles on an 83s. Sold it with 370k miles on it and it ran so well, I couldn't find an excuse to change the plugs. The other stuff however was wearing out faster than I could replace them. So, I figured if I could find a low milage car, I could drive it forever. Yours is good for at least another 20 years or so of awsome driving. I hope you enjoy yours when he finihses as much as I have mine today.

I'll snap some pics of it tomorrow. When I got the car home, I spent the rest of the day cleaning the wheel wells...amazing how much dirt accumulates in only 36,000 miles of Hamptons driving! (Car has lived its entire life in the Hamptons). I plan to use her as a daily driver, yet still maintain her to the level that she can win some concours awards.
