Wanted Pair of old early motor mounts, urethane injection molding jigs
If anyone has a pair of old ones I can play with, please let me know.
I am looking to take one completely apart and search for other candidates to fill the gap and function and the other is for the side by side physical comparison.

There appears to be a candidate from a 1991-97 Ford with a 4.6L/5.0L motor which has the engine collapse lock built into the mount. These are hydraulic mounts also.
There also appears to be the mid 80's 5.0 mustang mount could work with only having to drill two new holes on each side of the cross member.

There is another candidate style too, but the collapse locks have to be used from 83 and newer, or something else to do the same work.

I know sometimes I post a list of thoughts like a blog; however, in this case, I want some feedback from folks. Even if it is just from the 77-82 group of owners. If you happen to have old worn out even broken early motor mounts please hang on to them for me and I will pay for postage and such.
Anyways, I think I also found some candidates for transmission mounts too from a few BMW's and Benz's from the mid to late 80's. Additional there appears to be some other modern Audi and AMG Benz mounts that could be candidates for MM's too.

You should have the old square virtually indestructable motor mounts. They don't generally need replacement.

I have these too, but 31 years and the pass side is fallen by 50%.
Brad you need to save your old mounts as I am looking how to reuse the top frame and the bottom tang if possible. Each of the candidates above assume the top frame is recovered for reuse.

Gotcha. It will be a while before I replace them but when I do hopefully you will have some results with rebuilds and I could send you these as a core or something.

After hanging out with some the Integra tuner kids, I found out they make their own bushings and mounts. I am getting more information about their process, but it may be possible to take old mounts, clean off the rubber, install the two metal parts into a jig and pour int the urethane materials.
