Shane - if I understand it correctly, the new one has the same circuitry as your original ST1, just in a smaller package.
There may be a software upgrade for you, from V4.0 to V5.0, if you don't already have it?

John, we have an 84 Euro. Its Jim Doerr's old car "Chewey"
It has Jetronic 928-518-123-04
But it has a little John Speake sticker that says
"upgraded to Euro, 928-618-123-02" and a date of 27/8/07
Would the new Sharktuner be able to interface?

Yes that LH ECU would be OK.
