Speedo and Brake light warning lamp; coincidence?

Drove car to work toay, first time driving in about a week. Speedometer no workie and even the LCD digital one says 0 and the brake light idtiot light in the dash is lit as well.

Coincidences both happening at same time?

Things to look for?

Not likely but I am not familiar with the cluster on the newer cars.

Start looking for common element - fuses for example.

A MY would probably help.
