Jim Doerr (Jadz928) has a silver 1978 for sale right now. It is a nice early example - euro spec, 5 speed. I drove it at Frenzy, and it runs well. Jim and Kevin L put some time into it making it a good runner. The body and interior are not bad either. There is a link to the car on here somewhere. Calling Jim!

Thanks Ed for the nice endorsement. It is a very good original car.

This one has been for sale on Craigslist for quite some time. He has been asking around 10k, so keep that in mind with the reserve price.

This one sounds like a bargain if it's as nice as described

Hard to say. The ad embellishes quite a bit. Paint is original for the most part (front fender resprayed), clearcoat is thin.
Odometer doesn't work, but the miles appear lower. And the car represents it.
Needs fuel lines.
Interior is nice, but front seats are faded (no Pasha, Sorry Doug). Hatch liner is peeling, door sill trim cracked.
Not original radio. Antenna doesn't go down.
AC works.
Original exhaust in great shape, sounds GREAT.
No dash or pod cracks.
Seems to have a low voltage charging issue.
Original suspension.
Decent steering, good brakes.
Needs oil seals, OPG, etc.
TB seems ok, WP doesn't leak
New tires, as stated.
No hood insulation.
No dash lights.

Recent service by a reputable RL'r.

Runs and shifts really well!

Is it a bargain? Not for me. But it's a very honest car. Should be worth his asking price for the right person.
