Other things to look at. Ride height as mentioned will make a big difference. I would also check the rack bushings and inner tie rods. Just a little play in these will give a sloppy and unsure feel. Motorsports has solid rack mounts and they are easy to install.

Before taking much action you might want to review the thread by Bill Ball on suspension. He finally settled on stock springs and Bilstein shocks. I have the Gold package on the convertible with Bilsteins and it is very stiff to drive. With the wavy roads we have here it is not comfortable to drive, but it sure does cling to the curves. Personally I prefer the stock set up with Bogies and the blue / green springs

Hey everyone

thanks for the great input and suggestions / recommendations. I also found a couple of good discussion threads on the subject. I decided to go with a set of Eibachs (thanks Shane!) and a set of new BOGE's. I think I'll have a happy S3.

She's also getting paint so I'll post a pic of her when she's all put back together. Thanks guys.
