Anyone had leaking All Aluminium radiator issue?

Just get a new Behr and not worry about it for 15 or so years.

The verdict is that it's holding. I only put a few heat cycles on it since the J-B Weld patch but there is no sign of leak. I'll put a few more Kms in the next few weeks before handing the car back to the owner. If the price of the OE radiator is the same or close to the all aluminium ones, then I would stick with OE. Actually, let me change my mind.....stay with OE.

The C&R seems to cool a little better but even in Phoenix the Behr was OK.
My stock Behr leaked and my C&R leaked. There were differences - the Behr was about 13 years old but was not repairable. The C&R leaked in about a year (not good).
But the C&R was repairable - cut the side tanks off re-weld the core connections and epoxy them from the inside - then reweld the side tanks back on - lots of work - hasn't leaked since.
Alan.

All told there were 3 C&R repairs: 2 that lasted no time at all and the major tanks off repair that lasted about 3 years. The C&R initially started leaking about 2 years after new installation... All together just too much trouble and expense.

the roads here in the south bay area here in LA have some nice dips I'm them for water run off when it "rains" here. i hit one (bottomed out, have protection plates) on the move here from ohio and pissed off one of the tubes going into the header from the impact, thats my guess.. local shop used epoxy and its holding up for now.........
