Note, AFAIK, all ROW '86 are '86.5 equipped. (You can see the '86.5 type rear jack point in these pics.)

Wow, I wasn't sure those actually existed in the US.

Figures it'd be red.

These were very rare cars in Europe. The German government gave some kind of tax incentive for people to buy these cat equipped cars rather than the normal 16v 4.7 928S non cat.

However very few people took up the 32v option. There are none in England, although there is one early US 32v car here. They were only available for the 86 MY.

All are '86 MY and have either M28/45 + G28/10 or M28/46 + A28/11 gearbox. Engine is basically same as US M28/43 and M28/44. Only difference is in piston tops.

Selling on ebay frequently doesn't mean its sold. I think it would have been easy for the buyer to back out since it was listed incorrectly (as a US not Euro low compression rated HP). Could also be the 0 feedback seller also flaked, or just taking some time to sort the transaction and make it final before pulling the ads.

One of the other Euro 86 models I found in the US was also a low compression model, that one was converted by Black Forest Racing to a Chevy and I tried to buy the motor until I found out what it actually was.

Car is in better shape than I thought it would be, not worth the 13k they want though.
