DAMN IT!!! I'm doing a water pump job on my 86.5 (with a LOT of help) and got to the harmonic balancer...it's on backwards. We still haven't gotten it off!

 

Finally got it off with a puller.

I was taking the first bolt out of the pump...broke! After a lot of lost sleep and even more help from John and Christian, we got everything tapped out and on...timing looks good.

Dumped the smog pump, replaced the tranny seal and filter, drained the oil, replaced the oil filter, and we'll start putting everything back together next week. Can't wait to get Karen back on the road. It looks a lot better than when we started!
