OK you gota give him points for trying, but I think if you need to borrow money to restore a car, you should not be. Plus 4k is not going to restore any 928. And his plan is to pay back early when he sells one?

Oh and if he can afford $400 a month, just save for 10 months and there is your money!

I thought I had seen it all!

The 928 is just the story, he really just needs the money to pay his bookie.

I like that show but it makes it look way too easy to the general public who drive grocery getter's all their life then watch a show and think all they need to do to restore a car is change all the fluids and fix the stuff that didn't work properly.

Sort of misleading if you ask me because they show Ed China working on the cars like it's just himself when i'm sure they have at least a couple people just to look up specs, source parts, look up procedures etc.

Flip a 928 for profit? That's rich.

It looks like an opportunity to pick up two 928's (his collateral) for $4k assuming he owns them free and clear, but that's a big assumption.
