I'm thinking of selling my BBS rims. Thought I would post on here for everyone to look at.
They aren't anything too special/nice looking. I received an offer on the centers and am contemplating selling them. I will need to get more information on the wheels but I will try to state all I know about them atm. I'm debating on selling them as a whole or selling the centers with the offer that was made and then selling the outer 2 pieces and tires.
They are as stated in the title BBS 15" E52 rims. I do not know the width of them yet. The rears have 265 50 15s and the fronts have 245 50 15s. The tires have a good bit of tread left and the fronts are almost brand new, but they are many years old. Oh and they are Goodyear tires. I will get the date codes tonight. I wouldn't recommend using these tires honestly. But they were stored in a garage out of the weather and not on the car. The outer pieces need to be re-finished as the chrome is pealing. Also on the 2 front wheels they are obviously not as wide as the rears. And they have been cut into to allow for the valve stem. I have no idea when this was done or by why but they were idiots if I must say so. It isn't cut all the way through. Again this is only on the fronts.
I'm not sure what I should ask for these so feel free to make an offer if interested or help me determine a price if you could. Would love any help I can get. The money made from selling these will be reinvested into the Porsche to get it running better. I'm looking for a good price for the whole set and prices for the outer pieces in case I take the offer for the centers.
Here are all the pictures I have of them so far. I have pictures of 1 front and 1 rear to show the cut out section. I can get pictures of each wheel this weekend if needed.
Thanks in advance!

Brad,
Anytime you sell something its always good to have your location in your profile. Some folks may be more interested if your close.
BTW..I think the stock wheels that are on the car look MUCH better...but thats just me.

I need to look at them closer to verify as I have seen that as well. I'm thinking it could be just the dirt and grime.... at least I am hoping so. Definitely not trying to hide anything.

And I am leaning that way too, which is why I'm interested in selling these to help fund the project.

If you REALLY wanted to be cool...find some phone dials. But wheels can always come after the car is running sweet.
My son's car had Phone dials on it when he bought the car and he wanted to update. If I EVER find myself with an OB in the future I will run Phone dials. I just love the look on these cars.

That's my exact thoughts. I want this car running and running reliably. Then I will worry about looks. And rims will be the last thing I worry about after everything else is done. And I have an idea what color scheme I want on my rims.... If I can just find a good style and maybe someone to photochop the colors and all that to get an idea what it would look like.

with a little bit of cleaning those wheels would make terrific hose reels.
Bolt one to your house then put the hose on it.
Since the hub carrier is cracked the rim cant be used for a car application

I had enough time on my lunch today and that rim is indeed cracked in several places. Wonder how that happened....
That appears to be the only rim that is cracked. But it has to be one of the rear wheels so I only have, and that's if I'm lucky, 1 'good' rim. blehhh So much for them being good freebies when I bought the car. But at least they were free.
