Default S4 brake pad help

I purchased these pads think they were front and rears with s4 compatibility. Did I get the wrong pads for an 87 S4? The small ones do not look right to me.

They look right to me. Take the ones you have on the car out and compare.

Thanks Sean, I just did not expect there to be such a difference in size.

Rears are surprisingly tiny.

Just another indication of how much work the fronts do on a stock S-4 and why many like to change the proportioning valve to make the rears work more. Down side is more rear brake can help the rear get loose especially in the rain. Porsche went to great lengths making the front end understeer and front brakes do most of the work so poor drivers could not easily spin one.
Most people if they go into a corner and the front end pushes off the road recognize that THEY screwed up by going too fast. Same corner same speed and the rear end comes around and hits the tree and they blame the CAR !!
