What is a "flawless mile"?

Anyway, great deal if this car is for real...and I MEAN that! I'd pay no attention to the description as it has many inaccuracies. Only way to find out is for someone to go over and check it out.

...and, oh yea...What does a $9K PPI entail?

FWIW...I just called the phone number. They have no clue what they have. Car has a sunroof...sounds like the previous owner told them a bunch of info they didn't quite grasp. There is nothing special about this car. He thought they didn't really make auto's for this car and thought they were only made for one year. Car is a 94. No rub strips. May be a good deal for someone to go check it out. If the car is mechanically sound...this is a steal! The shop has no idea what the car is and someone could probably go down there and get it for a better price.

Somebody needs to call them and ask a bunch of questions, then announce that they are King Arthur and have been looking for the Holy Grail for a long time ...

I'll give them $1500 over asking just to cover shipping if they'll take an out of state two party starter check.

GO give them hell about copying an ad that does not apply to their car and you might let them know that there are several other '94 GTS's EXACTLY LIKE THEIR one of one (when I looked at the pic, it actually looks like it HAS a sunroof to me...could just be the pic or my eyes though)...same interior and exterior and the import # is 406 (or is it 407?) not 466 or whatever they quote...

Does look like a decent car... middling miles, not much special other than it is a GTS (which is actually pretty special, but 84k miles black/gray, auto...no biggie).

If it had been Guards Red he could've bumped the price to over $40k.

Stopped by to see the car. Took 33 pictures. The engine and paint look great. There are several touch ups on the paint, but with some work they would not noticable. Interior is vinyl. Leather seats in good shape. Headliner show evidence of water damage. PS front back inop,DS mirror inop, PS ok, memory seats DS inop. front engine pan missing and the air dam is hanging down. Car is from Napa, CA. Tool kit is rusty. Engine starts and idles smoothly. Not a $37k car. Fella selling it is not the owner. Owner is outside the country and just wants to sell it. PM for pictures.

If he just wants to sell it he is probably going to have to come off that price at least $10k considering the condition and miles.

now the ad has a different description. Now it is even more confusing.
"ASKING PRICE $38,500... THE "HOLY GRAIL 1994"!! AUTOMATIC GTS!! THIS WAS MADE SO IF YOU ARE A SERIOUS COLLECTOR OR JUST OVER 7 FEET TALL AND NEED MORE HEAD ROOM - THIS IS YOUR ONLY CHANCE!!!! ONLY 82K FLAWLESS MILES!!! Factory Options: Manual Transmission, Am/Fm Radio Cassette, Air Conditioning, "Sunroof". Just Completed a Very Thorough $5,000 PPI & Service Update!!!! This is the Tightest, Best Driving 928 GTS We have Ever Had!! Like Going to Your Porsche Dealer & Finding a "New" 928 GTS They Forgot They Had!!! WHAT A "DREAM CAR"!!!!!! I do have a question though but not about this car. Can a 7-footer fit into a sunroof-less 928?

I could wear a hat 12 inches tall and go down there and give her a test drive and let you know!

I could also race it in my OB to see the look on their face!
