Just got back from the monthly Cars & Coffee car show in Scottsdale and was inspired to set up an AZ 928 gathering. Dan (S4ordie) and I were talking about trying to get our local group together more often, so here it is guys, a chance to get out there, hang out, show off our 928's and drool over some truly amazing cars at one of the best monthly car gatherings in the country.

Date is Saturday, April 7th. We should get there at about 7:30 am to get a good group parking area. I know that's Easter weekend, but hopefully with this much advance notice, everyone will be able to spend at least part of their morning there. Things start to break up and cars begin leaving at about 10:00 am, so you don't have to spend the whole day... unless some want to go for a drive afterwards...

So, how 'bout it AZ group (and anyone else who wants to join in)??? This should give everyone plenty of notice with it being 2 months out.

Brad, sorry didn't really get a chance to take pictures this time, but there were an amazing variety of F cars, Lambos and Porsches along with just about anything else you can think of. Although, the Veyron didn't show up this time
It gets so crazy full of cars that a Ferrari Daytona coupe was parked over in one of the side lots because the main lot was full. There was actually 2 of them at the show.

There are so many cool cars that I'm always amazed at how people just walk right by the rows and rows of them, but if any ONE of them were in a parking lot by themselves, people would be all over it!

Will definitely get some good pictures when all the 928's are there in April... or you could come down for a visit and see them for yourself!

Plenty of time to fit this into my schedule. I guess we'll come down, it'll be a good shakedown run before
SITM, in June.

I'm off this next week, gonna be installing all the new parts I've been buying for my car. It's been way to long since we drove down to Az. Looking forward to seeing everyone too.

Alan, very glad to hear you'll be coming! Part of what Dan and I talked about recently was trying to set up a fixed/consistent meeting like some of the other guys do (e.g. the DFW group). Hopefully we can all talk about that either at the car show, or we can head somewhere afterward.

I'd be up for drive out to Canyon Lake and out to the Saloon at Tortilla Flats - really a great little drive if you can avoid all the boats... its been a couple of years since I did it last... Great group get together spot.

I did just order the Shark Speakers ... I hope they get in and I will wire a stereo in until the "radically redesigned center console" is ready

I have not worked on here for a while. Maybe I will try to work the ABS short this weekend as well. Be nice to have that light off on the dash. Just a short somewhere...
