928 SERVICE MANUALS @ MISC ITEMS
I have recently placed a "for sale" ad on craigslist (http://houston.craigslist.org/pts/2831055166.html) for items for 928's.
A little history, I owned my 1987 928S4 for 15 years and approx 50,000 miles. Great auto with the normal issues as listed on the forum. The car was "totaled" in 2008 by Hurricane IKE, water in the garage was approx. to the floor pan, carpet was wet behind the front seats. Leland West Collectible Car Insurance totaled the car without inspection, gave my full stated value without any questions. Could not buy back due to legal reasons. Replaced with a 2006 MB 500SL with AMG appearance package. The S4 received positive remarks almost every drive - with the MB 500 SL maybe 2 /3 in 4 years. Believe the S4 is a little stronger from 80 mph up (approx the same HP). Still look for 928's, great cars.
