My daughter was in town last month. She needed a run around car so I gave her the keys to the Ferrari.
She's 19. Had a great time, really enjoyed driving something with some poop to it.
Son is still driving the GTI with turbo, never scratched a fender, same with daughter. Both do much of their own mx, although I do have to help with the diagnosing.

Lots of passion about this topic. For those that only read the subject or the OP (that I posted), I got my kid (13) an 87 924S. He's going to work on it and work towards it.
