Default body sealer removal

Hello all

Looking for some ideas regarding removing the underbody glue that is resident under the tar like body sealer ?

Something a little bit less labout intensive like elbow grease being the time poor person that I am .

TIA all

This works a treat John. I've used all sorts of solvents and this won't knock you out with fumes, but gets the under bonnet glue off, and all the interior glue and bitumen residue that you're referring to. I stripped the interior of my 82 and it was the quickest by far .. got it at Supercheap here in Tasmania. Works even better if you lay rags or towels soaked in it over the area, with a layer of plastic on top, and leave soaking for a while.

A horrid job.... I did my 924 ( racecar ) with the following.... prep wash, razors, screwdrivers, wire brush, wire brush on a drill, metho, rags ( so many rags ), sandpaper, scraper, heat gun and beer... it took many hours to get it looking clean.
