both interior and exterior looks nice and different but one look at the engine that is not clean and missing strap and cap will bring the asking price way down.....

A few years ago when I was at Brumos, they let me go into their service dept to see a Gemballa S4 in pearl white that they were servicing. It was too close to the wall to get a front shot of it.

One way to check is to look at the VIN. Does it have ZZZ in it?

What does the sticker on the door jamb look like? Is it a Porsche sticker, or does it say who else imported the car?

Another indicator could be the missing headlight adjustment **** next to the parking brake. I believe that Euro cars of that time had it already. But it could have been lost in the conversion.

Best of luck in selling this unique 928! I agree that one should spend a few $$$ on the air box straps and a cover for the washer reservoir. Also make sure that the cover for the battery port is in place. All these combined should be less than $50, I would guess, but help make the engine compartment look complete and cared for (of course, a cleaning should be done as well).

Good luck with the sale, but I agree with above. That body kit just ruins the lines and beauty of the 928. There is always someone though who has a taste for ugly. Just hope it really is a Euro or else you might have to cut that price in half.

Looks like a US car, no twin distributor.
Price is high, I paid $13.5 for my 87 Strosek 4 years ago with 55k miles on it.

Not a fan of the lights or S4 spoiler.

I have no idea when the kit was done on my car. US car that came out of Japan.

Strosek sold kits so maybe Gembella did too.

Thanks for the replies,

It is the original dash, it has been "dyed" black. The underneath is still red. I don't know if this is reversible.

The VIN does not have ZZZ in it. Is it 100% sure it is not Euro? Bad day right there!

300 ZX Headlights! YUCK!
I understand the lights are different and might offend true 928 lovers, I actually find them quite nice...It does make the car unique.

Not original Gemballa.
I don't know if I would base myself on a German add to say so. I'll try to find more first hand info. It definitely has the interior and exterior Gemballa kit. Maybe a third party modified it, to be verified.

Someone is looking to buy it for 7.5K , since most of you seem to find the price expensive and are more knowledgeable that me, do you think this is a fair price? I found it on the low side as the car runs strong and it is unique...

Seems like a more tasteful version of the bodykit than most of them.
Except, sorry, for the Z lights.
The CIS entry point into the plenum spider?

Front looks BMW 850-ish. I'd pull the S4 spoiler - it would be more cohesive visually. GLWS.

If you're talking about the hard line going into the front of the plenum, that's for the automatic transmission. All automatic 16v cars have this.
