I saw that too. I'm a little leery of throwing them $100 I may never see again, but I supposed if one makes no bets you'll never win.

Appears this is linked with sales of PSLs vs. just the 2012 race.

BTW, Fraggle, what's your take on two F1 US dates? Would you be inclined to go to NJ since it's closer and see just one of the races?

Not sure, given that Jersey may not even occur. It depends on what each costs me.

My current plan is to Man trip to Austin and hope one of you kind souls has a place I can crash out and get a shower between hangovers and sleeping in the 928. Jersey will be more civilized and I'll bring my wife and daughter.

Though if seats cost like I saw prices in Singapore I may have to rethink the game.

It is to reserve grandstand or PSL and you can choose not to use it as well. I figure if I am going to take a plunge like Austin, I might as well get a good seat!. At least it is in November not June like originally, so heat should not be a big factor.
I went to the 1st one when they returned to Indy, it was cold, wet and miserable....but also very cool. So Austin should be much better. At least they have a great music/club scene to visit as well.
NJ is also much closer for me, I could take the train up as well. But let's see how they come along. Might be fun to go NJ one year, Austin the next etc....F1 every year !

Strat where in Central VA are you? Planning to drive or fly?

I figure I'll drive. Remove the passenger seat and fill the spot with pillows and a sleeping bag and I'll have a high speed RV.
