Did I screw up with these wheels?

My goal is to get the widest fattest looking tire that I can fit in there. I also want to roll as much as I can to get the car a little fatter without screwing up the paint. That part makes me nervous but I guess I will see what happens. I have a heat gun and I am also going to wait for a good warm day.

New wheels came today. The rears are made in Germany and the fronts are made in Poland. What does that say? Also I now know the offsets for sure. As someone posted already the rears are 45 and the front is 50. Rear tires size is 295/30/18 Pirelli Asimetrico's . Fronts are 225,40/18. Continental contact sport2. One front might have some camber wear but not bad. I am very pleased with the tread depth. Overall not in bad condition for the money. The center caps Porsche emblem fell out of 3 of the caps. They are qaulity caps though and not the plastic junk. Also all the lugs were inluded. Did'nt expect that. I will get pics when they get mounted. It looks like they really will transform the rear view into the hotrod look I want. That's it though, don't worry I will not be painting flames next. LOL I just hope they work for me with no problems. It sounds like it has been done before so we will see.

Since I am not a rap fan I was thinking more of cruising to "fat bottom girls" by " Queen" with my new big butt. Here are the pics of my new fat girls. I have spent about 6 hours on them and they turned out better than expected. A lot of marks rubbed out that I did not think would come out. They balanced well at the tire shop this morning too. Now to get those brakes done and dash recovered so I can see how they do on the car.

I will get another pic later this evening. They do not seem real light to me but I guess that is a lot of rubber. On the bathroom scale I was at 54 on the rears and 47 on the fronts.

Those will be just fine. Several people around here running them. Might need to roll the rear fenders but that's a good thing.

Sean, Thanks, I believe it was your car that gave me the look I wanted. Is'nt that your Blue 928 S4 or GT in the "coolest wheels thread" with the Texas plates? I have it set as my wallpaper.

Got that set on my S4 right now. Fronts I need to mess with a bit to get the center caps to stick in place. Rears are great with a 295/30 tire, though I had to "baseball bat" the fenders to get rid of the rubbing.
Anyone with these what did you do up front other than running without center caps? 255's up front now.

Yes, bearing cap will not allow the hub cap to be "snapped" in. I have old caps from a set of wheels I had a while ago, they have the metal round snap lock system. I do have a a different set that are plastic, but they are more concave and i didn't try them, but I don't think they'll fit either.

That's the plan right now, just wanted to get opinions if anyone had a link on others with these wheels and what they did spacer or something different. I have a few sets of spacers (6, 7 and 15 mm) without studs and I have a set of 20mm with studs I can try also.
