Default Interesting EBAY parts car

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsc...item3a6f31d37f

Conversion that burnt from electrical fire in the CE panel....
However, $1500 in wheels, H5s, probably a G28-10 5 spd, etc....$3250 or make offer.
Someone could get some nice upgrades for a good price.

He forgot "ran when parked."

You have to feel bad for the guy, nothing worse that getting far into something and something like that happening. Bummer.

If anyone here buys it for parts. I would be interested in the mirrors. Wheels as well, but I think whoever puts out the cash for the car probably counts on using the wheels.

Conversion kits (the mechanicals) run a few grand themselves!

Let's see there is a '79 5 speed here that has sat for 10 years....

A short drive north and you have the drive train..... hmmmm

resist the urge.....

I'd very much be up for this if it weren't far and if I didn't already have a major project.

I decided to buy it
I want the wheels and transaxle as well as some interior stuff. Will see what else it brings. Just have to figure how to get it to Louisville. Anyone in Dallas have a trailer and want to deliver for a fee

I spoke to the seller and he spent a lot blending the s4 front to the s body and painting the car. Not my cup of tea, but if someone will be interested in the roller for a race shell, let me know. Vin shows it not to be an 86.5, but I will find that out eventually. Would be nice to get some bigger brakes out of it.

Anyone know the value of a Corvette 350 TPI motor with a Paxon S/C

I'll take the conversion kit if you decide to part it out.

The SC head unit itself is worth about $500. I would sell it as a complete SC kit, they are worth about $1000. If the engine is stock, it's not worth much, maybe $500.

I have a slightly newer version of the SC on mine.

Yes, I will be taking what I need and parting the rest. I will probably try to sell the motor locally to someone that wants to pull it. I am sure there is a local hot rodder that wants a S/C 350 SBC. The conversion parts will be sold as well unless someone wants everything to do a conversion. The interior, aside from the dash is nice so I will be using it for my car. Of course, the wheels will be used as well. I will also have to decide between this transaxle G28/11 or a G28/10 that I have not yet installed on my car. I would love to find someone that wants the body for a race car but it may not be economical to get it.

I had a dash fire damamged car before as a project and untill I cleand everythign really really well, the interrrior smelled like burnt plastic. What pictures might not show is that some part, even though they are not burnt, will have heat damage (melted edges, hardenned vinyl, other parts dripping on it, etc.). There was a lot of heat in that cabin.
