Fuel Hose Part Number Help
I've got the PET, but the hose I need is difficult to decipher.
My car: S4 1990
Description: Larger rubber hose that connects to top of fuel tank and filler neck. It has 2 90 degree bends to its formed shaped. When installed it passes through the rear body.
I had to take fuel tank out to do some repairs and subsequently had to cut this line off as the clamp at fuel filler neck was turned backwards and could not be accessed with the usual screw driver for removal. I bought the same size generic fuel hose at a local parts shop, but because it lacks the formed bends of the factory part it clamps itself closed where the 2 90 degree bends are necessary.
If you or anyone you know has a good used one I will buy.
Any help you guys could be at identifying this part # would be appreciated.
Kindest regards,
Nicholas Bryant

Part number 928 201 194 03 for your S4 1990.
I got one for my 82S and interestingly it has a different part number (928 201 194 02), but I can't imagine what the difference would be. I had to cut mine to get the tank out too.

Thank you Dave for providing the part number. I called today to try and source the part, but I got "That's kinda hard to come by, but we'll see". Hopefully they have a used part if new can't be found.

I have seen that hose in Greg Brown's inventory, and I'd bet that Mark and Roger can get 'em too. 'Spensive bugger, tho, in the $60-70 range IIRC.
