I reserved my room when I left last year and just signed up at 928GT.com today.
I am sure that thanks to Dave and his lovely bride this years event will be the best one yet, and that is saying a lot.

From: Back in Michigan - Full time!
Here I am... been busy as usual it seems lately.
It's true. Michigan Llamas are sweeter!
But here's the bad news...
It doesn't look good for me and SITM this year. I am crushed! I have been one of SITM's biggest fans for the past 8+ years as many of you know. Unfortunately, my daughter will be receiving her black belt and my son will be receiving his 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do on June 1st. There is no way I can miss that unless I want to win worst father of the year! I might be able to head out right afterwards and drive all night and show up on Saturday afternoon, but let's face it... the REAL fun is the insane drive along the Cherohala Skyway on Friday and the reunion on Friday night in Banner Elk. If I miss that, it won't be the same. I may still make the trek, so who knows, but I will not be there for the Friday night festivities for sure.
I am planning on going to the OCIC event in July, so I may have to save the hall pass for then.
You didn't hear?
He went all Kerouac and hit the the road with his supercharged GT and a trailer with his favorite breeding Llama, Posie, in tow.
Last I heard before he blew off the reservation was he was heading for the northwest, where the best breeding llamas live (so he heard ).
Poor poor AO. Only if he knew the best llamas are in his own backyard....
Literally. He may have just forgotten.

Rick, Did you miss my offer? Why not drive down with Carl in the pax seat. Stop by Richmond, Carl can drive my Perl down the BRP and lead the way as always. I'm planning to be driving the new '78 Euro.
Get with Carl, talk to him. He doesn't return my calls anymore. Wah Wah.

928 Specialists has the date up as June 1st -3rd.
Looks like Satudays event schedule is still in the planning stages.
I need to work on my boy's to make sure they ask off for those dates.
Would like to also do the TN driving on Friday.
