Headlight alignment stop the shaking

As part of my Endeavour to install a new set of 8” H4 headlights I encountered a slight vertical misalignment of the lenses with the pods in the up position.
I first followed all the guidelines I could find with the RL search feature but none of these produced the results that satisfied me.
In the process I did find that my (3) lift motor bolts where loose and figured that might be the reason the pods wouldn’t raise all the way however that wasn’t the case.
In the end I came to the conclusion that the problem is due to metal wear (caused by vibration and thereby shaving the metal points of contact between the swivel and fixed frames that hold up the pods)
Any way that’s my conclusion and I solved the problem by placing rubber shims between them as can be seen in the attached write up.

I had the same rattle issue as Herman. I used a couple small strips of foam weather stripping on each side after cleaning the metal for good adhesion. That said, Herman's is a more permanent fix and I'll probably wind up going back in there to follow his method. Great write-up!
