Default help needed sourcing a hose

so - my saga continues (going on 5 months since purchase) - i'll do the whole writeup on this ordeal when i actually get this car back from mechanic and drive home.

right now - he's telling me that he can't source this hose - he's looked locally - and tried through 928rus.com, 928intl.com and no one has it.

this is for a 1978 5 speed. it is the hose which ties into the lid on the oil fill. in the pic below - it's the one circled in green. this one is sheared on my car and must be replaced.

i also would love to get the one in red - it's clear that the previous owner or someone rigged this one on my car as well as the hose is pinched as it's not fitting correctly.

the pic below isn't of my car but of one i found online. if my guy sends me pics - i'll post those as well

The one in red is available but unfortunately the one in green is no where to be found. You can get a later hose to fit there, and use a suitable water cooling hose to run from the points where it runs in that original hose. That's the best I've been able to do when replacing them.

As Sean says the green hose is pretty easy to replace without the embedded coolant hose. Just block off the coolant line as it was deleted anyway in 80 on the CIS cars.

The red hose is readily available - originally 928 110 177 00 and superseded to 177 02. We normally stock them and they are $18.67 each.
