So my old hag (1980 US 5-speed) is about ready for the move. I hope she makes it. I'm leaving Sunday morning to Las Vegas then leaving there Monday morning and catching he 40 in Kingman.

Here is what we've done.

coolant bottle
windshield washer pump
radio wiring
speaker wiring
door panels rebuild
courtesy lights
rear hatch swap
cruise control
rear view mirror
windshield
wheel well shields
tires

a/c system: ( a project in itself )
vacuum lines & pots
a/c switch rebuild
mixer flap control cable
new expansion valve
new drier
new thermostat
hoses rebuild
wiring repair
flush
evacuate & fill

It's hard to believe we got the AC working. We have had 4 1980 928's and all of them had Non working AC's. We'll see how long it works.

Sheesh for the next few months how are you going to know if the AC works or not?

The AC is used for the windshield defogger. I'm in Texarkanna TX. and the AC is still working and the old hag is still alive.
