Default Anodizing pipe organ intake parts

Is it posssible to have the magnesium 85-86 pipe organ intake parts anodized instead of powder coated? My 20 year old calphalon pans seem to hold up well to abuse so can this type of finish be used on our intakes? A nice matte type of black or possibly a colored anodizing might look clean and a little understated as opposed to grey and yellow flakes.

Tim, correction ... they're commonly referred to as drain pipes ... anyway I have wanted to plate my intake as well, but never heard of anyone doing it. You really need to be careful if acid is involved, because some alloys don't do well with acid.

cast parts look funky anodized. the local shop that i get all my plating and powder coating done does anodizing as well. showed me some cast parts that a customer wanted done, all the uneven holes and what not caused the coating to pool and look discolored.
