It is a tough thing when you abandon a project you had high-hopes for. Good luck.
In early pelican post, owner reports buying it for $1200 and said carpet was soaked inside presumably from 10 years of no hatch glass.
Not sure what other parts that he accumulated or installed that might come with the car.
Based on the "don't waste my time" comment, explicitly stating zero flexibility, scrapping it might be the only way.

If anyone here does consider it, I would be happy to shoot over and look at it, and take more photos and video of it running.
Heck, I have my Shark at work with me today. Would give me a reason to take a nice drive and look at an old Weissach.
