Porsche 1982 intermittent tach

So have been trying to fix this, looked for the technical bulletins that jim morehouse has compiled but cant seem to find them on the internet as i already have all 7 wsm but they dont get too detailed into pinouts and repair and testing of the pcb. any help or input would be greatlt appreciated

Same problem I and many others have had.
Pull the dash and clean all the contacts on the pcb with a new pencil eraser, repair the broken (most likely) odometer gear while your in there and convert to LED for a little more fun. Put it all back together and no more buggy tachometer
