Thank you to 928 International for this awesome sale and superb customer service. Some of my parts have already arrived and, as always, are in great shape.

What I most appreciated is that I accidentally ordered parts for two different years, and Tom at 928INTL e-mailed me and asked if this was correct or if I wanted them all for the 86 they have on my record.

That, to me, is the difference between a good sale and a great sale with great service.

Thanks again, 928 International.

Matt

Hi Mark,

I'm looking for a used 78-80 transaxle, but didn't see any on the 928i site.

You sold me some solid struts and springs last year. Thanks!

Jeff

Just to clarify, the sale applies to all used parts in stock. It does NOT apply to new parts, rebuilt parts, or parts we do not have in stock at this time. I will ask that you be a bit patient with us as this sale quadruples our used parts sales and it takes us a bit longer than normal to get it all shipped out.

Have a great holiday and be safe this weekend.

To the 928 International folks,

Thanks again. My (1/2 off sale) parts arrived today - well packed and look almost new. Gonna be a Christmas filled with wrenching

Great service - once again.

I do have one but it's nothing I can guarantee shift quality with. All I can guarantee is that it will function.

The one in my 79 won't shift into first, so I've been starting it in 2nd. Should I just keep checking the site for new used transmissions?

If it won't shift into first (even with the engine off) then your transmission is pooped.
If it will go in when the car is off, then you need to do clutch work.

Well, it's definitely the transmission. I just don't have the means for a new one now, so I'm in the market for parts cars. How much damage am I doing to my clutch by starting in 2nd? it doesn't bother me much, though I do miss the initial pickup.

We've shipped over 200 since it started but some orders like yours are very time consuming due to all the used hardware you've requested but we will get to all of them.
