Default Heater blower

My heater blower squaks like crazy. I suspect it is a bushing gone bad. The prices for new fans are ridiculous.

Has anybody had any luck in getting a new bushing installed in the unit?

I have had good luck with drilling a small hole in the top bushing housing and dropping some oil down the hole

I think Roger has sourced some motors for these.

I have had some luck putting some oil (LPS) in there too.
I didn't drill any holes but sprayed some oil by lifting the rubber coppling if I remenber well.
It was noisy and wasn't turning in the "0" position.
Everything is working perfectly since then. About 4 years ago.

Good luck.

Roger has found a replacement motor for them. You might be able to get some more time out of it by doing the above, I've had some luck doing so.

928 international is also having their 1/2 price sale on used parts. I got one from them in last years sale and it is working great, and is nice and quiet.
