Beautiful.
I see that you have kept the body side moldings on the car. I actually prefer them on any 928.

Really nice. I did the same thing last August, same color. You're right. The fresh paint does bring out a lot of "thumbs up" amongst pedestrians.

The disassembly went pretty quick, about 3-4 days with two persons (a friend + me).

Reassembly took considerably longer, especially the sunroof and the alignment of doors+fenders took very long (abot 2-3 days).

Because I replaced the rubbers of the doors and the sunroof, in the beginning nothing seemed to fit right. All rubbers needed to 'set' a bit, to get it right.

Fitting the outer window seals was actually easier than I thought, with a little patience they fit pretty easily.

For the rubber seal on the front+rear bumper covers, I had to source stainless steel staples, which I eventually found from Bosch.

Glass-blasting of the alumunium window trim was very time-consuming and thus expensive. The morons that repainted the car previously just painted over the trim and seals, with pretty tought paint.

While the front fenders were off, I did have a good opportunity to replace the fuel hoses (again in 6 months, DO NOT get ALFAGOMMA EFI hose, they get brittle only after 6 months!!, now replaced them with GATES EFI 8mm hose), the FPR, rear cam seals, and put in the incredible s300s chipset from Ken.

Also pretty expensive were the new H4 headlights and lenses for the rear-light.

Next Tuesday it will be revalued for the insurance, so then I can really start driving it :-)

I will make some better pictures soon, I am really happy with the endresult

Cheers
Michel

Excellent work Michel. The car looks wonderful. Someday soon I will say the same about mine.
