Default Aluminum radiator / temp sensor need copper washer?

I'm in the process of installing the 928MS aluminum radiator. So far no surprises but when I removed the old efan temp sensor from the old radiator there was no washer at the mating surface.

I'm thinking that the aluminum surface on the new radiator may require a copper crush washer to prevent a leak from the temp sensor.

What have other guys been doing?

Disregard - After looking at a bunch of on-line pictures of radiator temp switches, it looks like there is a washer on mine. Its just been fused to the temp switch so it looks like one piece.

I don't remember doing anything special when I installed my 928MS radiator. Rarely gets over the first line on temp.

If it was like mine, when you pulled off the old temp sensor to swap it onto the new radiator the washer was alread on the temp sensor and you may not have even realized it. I had just been thinking at first maybe there was no washer since the OEM radiator is mating a metal surface to plastic and possibly that would change when mouting a metal to metal. But there is a washer there - just couldn't see it..
