It's being SharkTuned using a SharkTuner Alpha-N system.

The Alpha-N system's main "Load" signal uses a throttle potentiometer. In addition there's a MAP sensor that measures just atmospheric pressure, plus an airtemp sensor that are used for fuelling corrections.

We are in the process of developing a companion "MAF-less" system for supercharged and turbo'd cars, which uses a 2 Bar MAP sensor for the main load signal.

Just a quick update...

The engine has been reassembled back together and we are starting work on the ITB system now. I seem to remember seeing a PDF file with photos of how the water bridge is modifyied to clear the adapter plate and the throttle body.

Could anyone post a link or upload pics. It would be most helpful and perhaps save us a ton of fabrication work.

Thanks in advance...

The fit will depend on your design of adaptor plates and the ITBs castings. As no one has yet used the same parts as you are, so you will have to make your own way.

There are a couple of shots of ITB clearance from Andy G's stroker motor in this post:

Thanks Rob, they are interesting (lovely work), but Mike's ITBs bolt straight on the heads. It get trickier when there are adaptor plates bolted to heads and also the ITB bolted to the plates...

Alex, you're going to have to "suck it and see".

i think this will make to much power, you should abandon ship and send all the itbs to me for my poor old car!
all joking aside i put itbs with carbon plenums on the gt2 race car engine and got 50 hp at the same boost. i know thats got nothing to compare to your engine but ive always thought that to look at the lnlet/throttle body etc on the gts is a restrictive design. to keep it behind the 911 turbo of its time.

good luck alex and get a grip!, it will soon be time for spa!!!!

Argh. I changed the web hosting size and apparently that means all content gets deleted and has to be reloaded. It's on my list of things to do.

Here's a pic. For my ITBs, the right corner must be milled down and a plate welded in.
The other mods common to everyone are moving the sensor fittings. This means welding in plugs on the top and adding new bungs on the rear. I machine 6061 bar stock with M12 threads and 1/8 NPT for an aftermarket gage.

Mike, THANKS A MILLION!

This has been more than inspirational...

P.S. What a great list this is!
