928 wont start..no power to fuelpump fuse.

Angry 928 wont start..no power to fuelpump fuse.

1985 928 stalled out and wont restart...no spark or fuel presure.there is no power on either side of the fuel pump fuse.if i supply the fuel pump fuse with 12v the pump will run but still wont start.used jetronic unit insalled still wont start..

The fuel pump fuse is supplied by the fuel pump relay Relay XX. If the relay isn't turned on the fuse won't have power. The relay is turned on by the LH when it detects engine rotation.

Swap the raley to start with... you can swap with the horn relay.

You can also ue jumpers in place of the 3 critical relays to confirm if it is a relay problem and then work back from there.

And be thinking about grounds at back of block @ each side of valley , and also CPS replacement if the above doesn't work.

Sometimes its the CPS plug deterioration that takes the car down.
