In my prior " '88 S4 Stalling Diagnosis" thread, I described an event that left me searching for the cause. Having contacted John Speake at JDS Porsche, although the unit is 5 months out of 3 year warranty, he has offered to test and repair/replace the unit should it again be the cause.
In the meanwhile, upon removing the LH brain for shipment, I discovered 2 nearby disconnected connectors (photos attached). Whether I inadvertently disconnected them or they are for future or uninstalled accessory usage, I don't know. Any insights into their purposes and/or whereabouts of their mates?
Thanks as always!

I believe the 3 pin Bosch (black) connector is for the O2 adjust pot for non-cat cars.
I'm not sure about the white connector but it may be the test plug for the igntion final stages.
