OOHHH!

I love getting shiny new parts in the mail.

That WP is a work of art. That's Ed's (OBHave) design, right?

Very cool.

Yes Mike these are the Perfex water pump that Roger sells, with its failsafe bearings and plastic impeller, and a nice new Contour radiator fan shroud. I've been waiting impatiently for these 2 and they were delivered simultaneously!
special thanks to my friends OBHave and Bilal928S4 Thanks also to IMO, Joey JCG928S and Dan Perez for sharing the fan find. It is lightweight and beautiful, especially compared to the factory behemoth

me likey.......................very nice!!!! I think that fan setup would be a nice "upgrade" to my single 14" puller (supposedly rated at 1800cfm but only draws 4 amps) on the Estate.....

That's a nice set-up...and cheap! It's the mounting that is the trick. I'd be afraid to touch the 928 radiator with the nylon strap bits. So confounded expensive.

Funny that I recently threw away a 3.8l Taurus set-up. I've got that engine and the fan burned out.

NOTE TO ALL:

Put the thermostat at the outlet of the radiator. That way the fans come on when the natural air flow isn't cooling the coolant enough. Otherwise it'll run all the time once the thermostat opens. That's why Porsche put the auxiliary ("A/C") fan switch at the lower corner. Save energy. Save run-time on the fans.

H, if yesterday was Christmas, then today should be Boxing day/Day of Goodwill.

Goodbye old crusty GTS fan shroud. After an hour of careful cutting, I'm very happy with the result.
