Update.
I had problems with the temp switch and relay running the fans. It tended to be too much as far as airflow necessary was concerned.
And it liked to eat 40 amp relays and pop fuses.
So, I followed some others and bought the excellent DC Controls fan controller.
This thing is outstanding.
I understand it varies current and has a patent number on it.
Now, instead of on or off, my fan just runs as fast as necessary.
When I turn off the engine, I can hear the fan gently running and then slow down and turn off after a minute or less.
Amazingly good.
Recommended.
I fabricated a bracket and mounted mine where the air pump canister used to be. (Obviously, the wire hot wire is not attached yet. Ran it to the starter.)
