Default Accelerator cable

This should be pretty easy/simple but I have found that there are virtually no such things when it comes to a 928.

I'm going to replace the accelerator cable. Is there anything absurd that I should know?

Thanks all.

Plenty of WD-40 to insert the firewall grommet.

Usually whenever I am replacing a cable with another I connect the new one to the old one (with tape to make the connection surface as smooth as possible) so that as the old one is pulled out it pulls the new one along the same torturous route and into place.

Perhaps in other applications, but our cars have an entire accelerator cable assembly that needs to be replaced - not just the cable.

Holy ¿§ÆЖ! I've never looked so I thought that the cable under the accelerator was attached there also. Thanks for the update Randy.

I found this really easy!

But it would be since the engine was out!
