I installed a MSD 6a on my 928 today. It starts better and runs smoother. I am putting car up for the winter so I won't know what it does to the mpg til spring. Also need to find a good place for permanently mounting it.

I went with MSD's digital version, having had good luck with that on other vehicles, and with Jacobs on an '85 928S.
Look under the jump post for a peek. Companion coil on the right.

Note that, if your rotor is the type with an internal resistor, there could be problems...
