Porsche Service Information Book (ca. 1978)
Saw this on daBay and thought to pass it on. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220874721408
This is a must have for the DIY wrench, particularly for early 928 (OB) owners.
No affiliation, already have one.

Yes, and very fundemenatal information, broke down system by system... engine, trans, power cooling, power steering, etc. A very well put together piece of mechanical/automotive literature.

I have one, and it is not for sale
I put it in a 3-ring binder and keep it in the car. It is useful for keeping notes about the car, like which direction to turn the clutch-return spring, or what length belts to use for my hybrid engine accessories, etc. I also print relevant pages from the WSM CD I have and put them in there as well.
I don't think it has any technical info that's not in the WSM, but there are some additional "sales pitch" type pages in there that are kind of neat. For example, there is one describing the basic attributes of the car, another describing the benefits of the Weissach rear end, another describing the crumple zones etc.
I tried scanning and attaching a page, but it has 6x as many KB's allowed.

Agreed, same information. I just found the way the information was presented more pallatible. In some cases, more specific... some cases, more general. Has a few torque specs, but far from all.
I'd consider it a great companion to the WSM.

It looks like the one in the technical documents CD set.
It does contain lots of information not in the WM, specifically how things work as opposed to how to take things apart. Notably: how the hydraulic tappets work, the oil flow, the coolant flow, how the viscous fan works, how the syncho is supposed to work, how the PS pump and rack work, etc, etc.
Plus lots of cool cross-sectional drawings that look good printed and framed.
