One of the struts that are part of the door armrest fold-out mechanism is broken on my car. I have searched but not found any references to others who have had this problem, which surprises me as it is a fairly delicate plastic piece.

At this point I am thinking of fabing a one-off replacement in metal. However, I could order a bunch (likely a minimum order of 50) thru my son's work if many people have this need.

Of course if someone has a broken mechanism and could just sell me the plastic piece that would be the easiest.
