SHARKFEST: NorCal/PacNW Caravan??
Who is going from Norcal/PacNW/Reno/etc areas that could likely meet up at 'a time' Friday morning?
There's a nice gas/water stop at Exit 403B (I5 Southbound) at the Hwy152 interchange.
That would capture the SF Bay Area, PacNW, Other NorCal/Reno people in a common juncture.

The 5 and 152 interchange doesn't have any development. Would 403B be the Santa Nella offramp? If so, there are quite a few gas stations there, do you have one in mind?
To answer your question, yes, I would probably attempt to meet up.
There is also a rest area a mile South of the 5 and 580 junction on I5. Bill and I met up there last year.

I'm heading down from Elk Grove (Sacramento). What time is everybody else starting on Friday? I was hoping to time it so I miss the LA Friday afternoon traffic. Thoughts on this?

Leaving my area around 9am, in the BMW as I don't have enough time on the car since the last major repair to go back and torque check all the bolts.

I am leaving very early Thursday AM. I have business meeting in LA Thursday afternoon
Going down 5.
Most likely head towards the hotel Friday mid day
See you all there
Word of caution...last June I got popped for going 81mph on the sweeper on 580 on the transition
to 5 going south at the Altamont pass area. It's a blind right hander and most of you know it.
It's a haven now for CHP (tax man) with radar. You can't see them until it's too late. Cost me $281 The speed zone
is 70.

Hey I thought you guys might take the more scenic route 101. Anyway, Ill try to meet wherever the group decides, coming out of Placerville most likely. I could run the back roads into Stockton if there is a Stockton contingency, meeting there to caravan over the the rest of NorCal 928 group.
