hello all, 84 euro here. I'm trying to remove the rear hatch area sidewall to get to the last but not least of my ground locations that i need to clean. How the hell do you get it off ?
I have removed all the screws i can see, and also was able to free the upper portion that is above the window, i found there were the little press in clips holding that on. But how do i free the bottom ? Are there little clips under there also ? whats the trick ? anybody ever post any /procedures/pics on removing this ? I am alsmost ready to say screw the last ground. 3 hours of my saturday is enough
The ipsilateral rear seat has to come out. The carpet in the hatch - out. The nuts on the seat belt harness through the liner. The coat hanger thing.... The above mentioned link should (will) be helpful.
By the way, which factory ground is under the liner ?

There is one in the spare tire well.
On my 79 it is the ground for the fuel pumps and rear lights.
yes, the grounds for the full pump and rear lights. I dont have the one in the spare tire well on the 84 euro.
I did try to use the search, but it wasnt picking anything up, becasue i really didnt know what its called. I was searching rear hatch liner, when later i found a great site but it was under the search for rear quarter panel removal.
