I certainly don't feel bad about having my thread "hijacked". I am new to this system having happened on it last week. You will find two or three threads about me and our life here in Wyoming in last weeks threads. A trip to Grand Junction next spring might be iun the cards but we are a lot older than you guys. See my other threads.

Not a problem as you younger guys would say. I'm still getting used to this system and I responded to your note once before but it didn't show up so it looks like I goofed. If you check out my last threads (all this week) you will know more about me than you would ever care to know. A trip next spring might be interesting but I have to tell you, at 76 years of age, we would not be driving as fast as you nor would we be staying up as late.

Well, I guess the Memorial weekend is out. My son just reminded me that he is getting married here then. Also, here, that is a big week for what we call "JOCO" which is a Junior college national or world series baseball tournement for Junior colleges everywhere, so the hotels are all tied up.

I'm going to look at some weekend earlier than that.

Barney, I think you will find that the core of 928 enthusiasts are in there 50's, and some in their 60's. Some are younger, and then there are you and me in our 70's. I turned 71 last week. I too don't like to get down on the ground much anymore and will be installing a lift here in the near future; probably before we have the "fly-in" here next spring.

I'll start a thread on the cruise here when I find out about the radar site access for fossil chipping.

More later.

I thought I made a reply to this thread but I don't see it so I'll try once again. No problem with you guys digressing on the thread. I'm just getting used to this system so I hope this reply gets to you, Jerry. As a 76 year old koot I'm not sure that I would fit in with all you young guys (a 70 year old is young to me). We've been in your neck of the woods when skiing at Aspen. Maybe next spring. We're getting ready for the ski season right now.
