I've got the bad boy horn installed along with the factory horns. It's saved me from at least three idiots not paying attention. I once blew it next to a woman on her cell phone who was drifting into my space. She actually jumped in her seat and got off the phone immediatly!

I always thought all 928,s had the twin alpine air horn,s like my 80 928S.., these certainly command respect, and compliment the car no-end.
If I ever bought a later car (doubt it) I would source these beauties first thing and retro fit them.

One of the first things I did was to replace the horn with some old low and high ones lying around in my buddies garage. I like em. A high toned ugly sounding Beep beep did not cut it........

I've owned my '87 since it was new. It had a good strong sound but, years ago, while still under warantee, one of the horns fell off. I was able to retrieve it but with just one horn it did sound pretty week. Maybe you want to check to see if you have both horns.
