Default 86 Euro/5.0 Hybrid Engine Project for sale

I built a 5.0 years.Euro engine a few years ago, dropped it in an '86S and then put an '86.5 suspension under it and it has been that way for 4 years. The donor 86 has some cosmetic issues like peeling clear coat on the roof from sitting outside my late mechanic's shop and minor body damage to the driverside fender and door. It comes with electric/manual sport seats. The car has a manual transmission and dual disk clutch. It has the Euro computers as well.

The engine has zero hours/miles on it - everything was replaced with new parts when I built the engine. Belt, waterpump, gears, crank bearings, piston rings, everything. I did all the labor except flycutting the pistons. The driverside cam is brand new due my late mechanic's overzealous use of a hammer to loosen the cam gear - $900 mistake.

It is on some pretty nice 17" after market wheels that could use refinishing.

I am not interested in parting it out.

I am not in a rush to sell it.

I will try and post pictures soon.

THe number I have in mind is $3500 which likely is half what I have in it.

Car is US 86 with an engine with a 85 Euuro top end and 86 US 5.0 bottom end. And the brakes and suspension are from an 86.5.

Zero hours so it has never been run ? never started ? Not that it matters much since the trans /clutch assembly is worth the $3,500. If you were closer to me ........

I think so ....there are some advantages to the "overdrive" transmissions for a street car.

Pictures? Are you willing to sell it WITHOUT the engine and transmission?

I am looking for a 928 roller.

Does not hurt to ask but I think "I am not interested in parting it out." pretty well answers the question.

Pics please! As for the color I assume it is the "blue" one in your sig. Tell me it has a black/tan interior. That would be sweet.

BTW. Have you atleast started it up and checked timing, compression, etc? I am assuming yes, but you never know. What kept it from being driven for 4 yrs?

Should have sold by now, guessing later when more people check in and see it it will poof, unless there is a lot more project to it than it sounds. Picts and particulars would help remove confusion.
