Replacing heater valve

Hi guys,

I am planning to replace coolant tomorrow and it would be good time to do the heater valve. Should be a straight forward job - remove air box and simply replace the valve (I also have a small rubber hose that connects to it). Anything I need to watch out for? Also, what are the torque requirements for the air box and for the heater valve with it's rubber hose? Tried looking for pictorial guides, but surprisingly can't find anything...

Replacing the heater control valve and the short hose that goes to the block should take you no more than 20 minutes, including taking the air filter housing off.

More important is making sure the vacuum is working to it.

NOTE try to position the 3 clamps so they can be re tightened in a few months while the HCV is in place this is easy once you can figure out the best positions for the clamps

No special torque requirements Alexei as connections of valve and block hose are just hose clamps. Air box held down by 4 10mm nuts - just make them snug.
